Inclusivity Statement

General strives to ensure that its services are inclusive, and operates with the strong belief that every person has the right to live with dignity, equality, comfort and independence. We have invested a significant amount of resources to help ensure that our website is easier to use and more accessible for people living with disabilities, and employ a number of inclusive strategies to ensure that our services are accessible to various marginalized communities. In our work, we recognize that no solution is perfect. However, we endeavour to take steps in the right direction through our annual inclusivity audit process, continuing education, and remaining connected to the communities of people we serve and represent so that their knowledge and lived experience can inform our best practices.

Accessibility makes available the UserWay Website Accessibility Widget that is powered by a dedicated accessibility server. The software allows to improve its compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1).
